How do I post a video longer than one minute as a status?

A status can be up to one minute. Pick a longer video and Haydai offers to cut it into parts for you — they play one after another, like one video. No editing app needed.

Step by step

  1. Open the Status tab, tap New status, then Video status and Choose from gallery.
  2. Pick the long video. The Split video screen opens with the length of your video and the parts it will make.
  3. Choose the length of each piece: 15s, 30s or 60s. The number of parts updates.
  4. Tap Cut into … parts. Each part appears as a card; untick any part you do not want.
  5. Add one caption for all parts and tap Post … parts. They upload in order and play back to back.
A short video (up to one minute) skips this screen and opens the editor instead, where you can trim, rotate, crop or mute it.
